TEACHING ARTISTS
MUSIC ORCHARD RICHMOND (MOR)
Iris Leffler
Iris Leffler is a Richmond-based multi-instrumentalist and current student at James Madison University. While studying at JMU, she has performed with several of the university’s groups, including the Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Madison Baroque, and the Marching Royal Dukes. Beyond JMU, she has performed with the George Mason University Indoor Drumline as both a saxophone soloist and a member of the front ensemble. Although her primary instrument is saxophone, she also enjoys performing as a vocalist, tubist, and pianist. Iris firmly believes that any environment in which music is taught should be diverse, accessible, and have ample opportunities for everyone to contribute to its creation.
